Valve launches Pipeline, a website to help young adults pursuing jobs in games
Valve announced Pipeline about a month ago, with the stated objective of “establish[ing] a connection to the world of teenagers that are asking many questions about getting into the gaming industry. We look to answer many of these questions and are willing to reach out to the community and give them the information they need.”
The first videos, one on programming and one of virtual reality, are now up, and hopefully they’ll be providing a steady stream of updates from hereon out. Given the quality of Valve’s past publications, and that it will probably outdo everything I’ve set out to accomplish, this should be well worth keeping an eye on regardless of your discipline.
