Just in time for GDC, Gamasutra has published this wonderful interview with the speakers of GDC’s Level Design in a Day workshop: Neil Alphonso of Splash Damage, Jim Brown from Epic Game, Joel Burgess of Bethesda Game Studios, Steve Gaynor from The Fullbright Company, and Seth Marinello from Visceral. The Level Design crash course at GDC is always pretty top-notch, and this Q&A session has some really great questions for every level of designer, as well as some good information for anyone looking to improve gameplay through the world (I’m looking at you, environment artists).
