Eat3D’s Free Tutorials
Eat3D does a lot of really excellent tutorials, and they offer a fair selection of full tutorials for free. They’re tagged by the programs they discuss to make your life a little easier, too. The videos tend to be a little specific in their examples, but if it’s something precise that you want to learn they’re awesome, and if you’re looking for generalities it’s not usually too hard to extrapolate.
They run a range of topics from some basics of xNormal and Mudbox, to creating vertex painting in UDK and tiling textures in Zbrush, to one simply called writing XML data from Maya (which I didn’t even know was something anyone would want to do until just now, so shows you what I know). They’re anywhere from less than ten minutes long to just shy of an hour, with most clocking in somewhere near 15 minutes.
